Easy 3-step Festive Cherry Pie

| Ingredients: |

2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling |
|
1 egg, beaten |
| |
2 prepared deep dish pie crust shells (frozen or refrigerator-case pastry) |
|
1 tsp water |
| |

| Preparation: |
|
Thaw pie crust if frozen, or shape one refrigerator-case pastry to pie plate. Pour both cans of pie filling into single crust.

Cut second crust with a favorite cookie cutter for leaf, star or other festive shapes. Mix beaten egg and water together to form egg wash. Brush decorative cut-outs with egg wash.

Arrange cut-outs around edge of pie as shown. Bake at 425 degrees for 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. If needed, cover edge of pie crust and cutouts with foil during last 15 minutes of baking to prevent over-browning.
